Another addition to the city beautification grant in Harrison Arkansas.
Owners were open to ideas but really wanted a "whimsical haven" that people could escape to and relax. Loved the idea of focusing on nature and incorporationg plants and creatures local to the area. Added that whimsy flair by depecting a mother nature figure and fairies that welcomes guests, all while fireflies light their way.
completed 2020, 10'x10' individually
Owners wanted alien figures that represented each of the workers of the skating rink. The vibes were "retro aliens" with their earth pets who just want to have fun.

This was the first mural completed for the city beautification grant in Harrison, AR. Before it evolved into artists coming in with a concept and completing the design themselves, the initial idea was to use the murals as a learning opportunity for students in local schools. I worked with kids from Harrison High School Gifted and Talented program over several weeks, educating them on art techniques and how to go about coming up with ideas then painting them on a large scale.
